Route Notes BC 27 Apr 4700m C1 01 May 5800m C2 06 May 6050m Smt 08 May by Riba at 11 am. Riba and Belliardo tried for the summit on 7 May from C2. They got to 6300m but Belliardo felt very tired and at 10 am they turned back to C2, where they arrived at about noon. They stayed another night and the following morning at 2 am Riba left C2 to attempt the summit. Weather was clear and calm, but snow conditions were not too good. There was loose snow on blue ice. Riba reached the summit at 11 am, but had no views as he was in a cloud. He spent 30 minutes on the summit and returned to C2, where he arrived at 4:30 pm. Belliardo was still at C2 waiting for him. They spent the night there. On 9 May they descended to BC. Garro reached 5800m on 1 May. He stayed one night at C1, but he was not feeling well and descended to BC the following day. He stayed at BC for the rest of the expedition. Oxygen: Not taken, not used
