Route Notes BC 06/10 4550m C1 10/10 5810m C2 --- --- C3 17/10 6300m Smt 18/10 at 12 noon by Bolt, Kuhn, Meile, Urs von Daeniken, Lafrenz, Pemba Norbu Sherpa, Mingma Gyalbu Sherpa, Ram Gurung. Summit team left C2 at 5 am together with the Sherpas. The Sherpas were still fixing the ropes to the summit. The weather was calm and sunny and warm. They spent about 20 minutes on the summit and apart from Urs von Daeniken, who spent the night at C1, they descended all the way to BC. Albert von Daeniken, Heim and Zabold reached C1 on 10 Oct. All three climbers had health problems and had no chance to go for the summit. Fixed all rope between C2 and the summit.
