Route Notes The team had no leader. Bill Dwyer was called the organizer. He went to BC with the other two members, but stayed with them for only five days and did no climbing. The team, therefore, consisted of just four people: the two women members and one Sherpa with each of them. Joncheres, who was acclimatized since she had just come from Pakistan, and was a good climber, was unfortunately sick (diarrhea and fever). She managed to climb ABC on 13 November with Thile Nurbu and to C1 on the 14th, but then her ill health forced her to descend to BC on the 15th, and Thile Nurbu went with her. She left the mountain on the 16th. That left only Gorska and Tenji. They went up to ABC on 14 November, but returned to BC the same day. On the 15th they went up to C1 and on to C2, then returned to ABC to sleep and descended to BC on the 16th. Gorska needed to rest in BC because she had a slight case of bronchitis. On the 19th they went back to C1, spent two nights there, and on the 21st climbed up to C2. On the 22nd they continued up to C2.7 and on the following day, the 23rd of November, they went for the summit. Gorska and Tenji left C2.7 at 7:00 am on the 22nd and got to the top at about 3:00 pm. They were back in C2.7 at 5:00 pm. They reached BC on the 24th and went to Pangboche the following day. They flew to Kathmandu from Lukla on the 28th. Sherpas: Tenji Sherpa, 1/6/82, Patle, Everest X6 Thile Nurbu Sherpa, 26/5/74, Chaplung, Khumbu, Cho Oyu X1, Everest X5, Lhotse X1
