Route Notes The weather was unfavorable throughout the climb; there was snowfall every day during the team's climbing period. To acclamatize, Polackova and her two Sherpas made C1 at 5700m on 2 May and returned to BC the following day. On the 5th, they went back to C1 hoping to establish C2 the next day at 6000m. But the snow was waist-deep, which required a lot of time and effort to dig out the fixed line, and they knew no rope had been fixed above C1. They left C1 at 7:00 am; when they had not reached the site for their C2, Polackova turned around and went back to C1 with their gear a 2:00 pm. The Sherpas, who knew there already were two at C2, didn't need to take any with them for that night. They reached C2 at the same time Polackova got back to C1. Down in C1, Polackova decided to abandon the climb because of the constant snowfall plus avalanching between C2 and C3. All of them were in BC on the 7th and left on 9 May. They trekked in the area for a few days before returning to Kathmandu. Sherpas: Singi Lama, 22/10/69 (6/7/2026), Kerung, Sindhupalchowk, no 8000ers Min Bahadur (Bijay) Tamang, 18/8/79 (2/5/2036), Lisankhu-5, Sindhu, no 8000ers
