Route Notes Heo, Kim Ji-Soung, Kim Seok-Soo, Lee, Chinjung, Sanu and Tashi started their summit push at 5:30 am on 4 Jan from C3. Four Korean climbers went up to about 100m and returned C3 as Sherpas were fixing the line. Four climbers started again from C3 at 7:30 am. The team reached tot he top at 4:30 pm. It was very windy and very cold but clear sky. The team spent 20 minutes on the summit and descended to C3 where the team reached at 8:40 pm. Spent the night at C3. Next day the team went down to BC. Baek went up to C1 3 times first was on 26 Dec and last time on 5 Jan; he suffered from stomach disorder. Jang slept at C1 on 26 Dec; he too suffered from stomach disorder and rest of the time stayed at BC. Leader Kim Gyu-Tae spent the night at C1 on 26 Dec rest of the time; he stayed at BC doing logistics for the climbers. Kim Kang-Tae slept at C1 on 27 Dec; he went up to C2, then to BC. He left BC on 3 Jan due to his job back home. Kim-Min Sung slept a C1 on 26 Dec; he too suffered from stomach disorder. Kim Ji-Soung said that there was a large crevasse before the summit about 10 meters below the summit, about 30 meters in length and about 3 meters wide. Fixed rope: 1400m from C1 to summit.
