Route Notes Cimenti left BC at 00:35 am on 2 June. Weather was perfect and sunny. Now a lot of snow, but ice at serac. He used the old fixed ropes. He found it tiring as he was not properly acclimatized. He spent about 20 minutes on summit. On the way down he got lost in fog at about 5000m and he was looking for the way for 2 hours. He arrived at BC at 3:30 am on 3 June. He had a cook and porter with him who stayed at BC.
