Route Notes On summit day, Holmes and Booth started from C2 at 5 am, Orrell, Ruck, Stewart, Mosedale and Lhakpa Sherpa started from C3 at 9 am. The weather was calm and clear and the conditions good. Mosedale turned around about 100m short of the summit due to very cold feet and returned to C2 where he arrived at 7 pm. The rest carried on and summited around lunch time. The summit team (apart from Booth) descended to C3, where they arrived at 3:30 pm. Both descended to C2, where he arrived at 4 pm. On 22nd November, Allen and Lhakpa (again) started from C3 for the summit and they reached 6500m. Allen was tired and had very cold feet (it was very windy that day) so they decided to turn around. They descended to C1, where they arrived at 4:30 pm. Driesen never made it out of ABC as he was too exhausted and had a chest infection. The team left BC on 24th. Note: Stuart Holmes paraglided off the summit.
