Route Notes First the team went to Island Peak and 13 members and a Sherpa reached its summit on 4 November. Then they went to Ama Dablam BC on the 7th, and with this acclimatization, they made rapid progress up the mountain. They made two summit pushes. Two members, Bouda and Vestak, went up from C1 on 9 November and established C3. At 8:00 am on 10 November, they left C3 for top and summited at 1:00 pm. They then made C2 at 4:00 pm and slept there that night. They were back in BC on the 11th. The second summit party was composed of Dedyk and Lhakpa Chhiri, who left for the top on 11 November from C2 at 4:00 am, and Cholewa, Moskala, Olszewsi and Tomala, who started up from C3 at 8:00 am. Cholewa's feet were getting very cold when he had reached 6500m, so he went back to C3 while all the others in the party continued on the summit and were on the top at 1:00 to 2:00 pm. Dedyk and Lhakpa Chhiri returned to C2 at 6:00 pm; the other summiters stopped in C3 at 2:00 pm. Cholewa was determined to get the top. Someone lent him a better pair of boots, and he set out at 8:00 am on 12 November, reached the summit at 3:00 pm, and was back in C3 at 6:00 pm. Non-summiting members: The Danis brothers, Libor and Petr, went up to C1 on 9 Nvember. Petr had a very bad cough; they both descended to BC on the 10th and left the expedition on the 11th. Dolinska, Kotla and Slowik were not strong climbers. On the 8th of November they were unable to reach C1 with other members. They stopped at 5500m, 200m below C1; Sherpas brought down to them a tent, food and stove, and they camped there that night. They descended to BC on the 9th and left teh team on the 10th. Kwapich and Pisarski slept in C1 on 8 November but were not feeling well. They went back to BC on the 9th and stayed there for the rest of the climbing period.
