Route Notes The team went first to Lobuche East to acclimatize, and all three members summited it on 19 October. One member, Alexander Zouros, went to Ama Dablam BC with the others and climbed up to C1 on 24 Oct only to see it; he had already decided not to do any more climbing; he was just not interested in doing it. He left BC on the 25th. Merle, Peress and Ang Pasang Sherpa left C2 for the top at 4:00 a.m. on 27 October and arrived there at 10:30 am. They stayed on the summit for half an hour and then descended all the way to BC, which they reached at 8:15 pm. They were now tired, so they spent the next day resting before leaving BC on the 29th.
