Route Notes Approach: Phakding, Namche, Pangboche, Dingboche, Chhukung, Island Peak BC, Chhukung, Dingboche Ion Mihaila, Tzecu and Torok left C2 at 4 am, reached 6584m at 5 pm. Snow conditions were not suitable to climb further up. Then the team descended. The team members spent the night in an empty tent under mushroom ridge without sleeping bag. It was very cold through out their climbing it was windy and cold. The empty tent was about 50m below the usual C3 site. They reached to the tent at 10 pm. Next day Torok slept at C2 and Ion Mihaila and Tzecu descended to BC, exhausted. The team returned to Kathmandu on 29 Oct and will leave on 2 Nov.
