| Route Notes | Kang and Jyamchang left C2 at 5 am on 27 Nov for summit. When they reached 6800m Kang suffered from headache and started having an eye problem, so they return to C2 at about 7 pm. Next day both went to BC. On 2 Dec Cho, Choi, Kang and Jamling started their summit push; slept at C1. 3 Dec they reached C2 planning to summit on 4 Dec. There was big avalanche on 4 Dec above C3. The team then decided to descend and came down to BC on same day. Kim climbed up to C1 on 25 Nov. He suffered from headache and descended to BC next day. The team returned to Kathmandu on 9 Dec and will leave on 13 Dec. The team members along with some more climbers planning to come for Lhotse in 2009. The team's original plan was to go for West Face, but they changed their mind and went to normal route (SW Ridge) without looking at face.
