Route Notes ICE Ama Dablam Expedition led by Henry Todd - 16 November 2007 Todd arrived at BC sometime between the 8th and 13th of October. Proudlock who had been trekking in Khumbu for a while before going to BC (4500m), arrived there on the 19th or 20th; Grayling arrived on the 22nd. Grayling said his movements were as follows: ABC on 24 Oct at 5300m C1 on 27 Oct at 5700m C2 normal site skipped: made next camp on 30 Oct at 6200m, below the former site before the November 2006 avalanche. Summit on 31 Oct. Grayling and Henry Todd climbed together to C2 and left for the summit together at 7:30 am on the 31st with Pasang Dawa and Lhakpa Thundu. Grayling and Pasang Dawa soon pulled ahead of Todd, who was 62 years old and very slow, and Lhakpa Thundu, who stayed with Todd. Grayling and Pasang Dawa summited at 9:50 am and descended all the way to BC at 5:30 pm. In his descent from the top, Grayling met Todd and Lhakpa Thundu halfway between C2 and the summit; the leader and his Sherpa got to the summit at 1:30 pm and spent that night in C2. On 1 Nov, Todd went down to C1 while Lhakpa Thundu descended to BC; Todd arrived at BC on the 2nd. Grayling left BC on 2 November, Todd on 6 or 7 November. Proudlock's movements according to Grayling: Arrived BC 19 Oct Slept in C1 22 Oct, down to BC on 23 Oct, back to C1 on 25 Oct, reached C2 26 Oct. Left C2 with Nurbu Bhote Lama on 27 Oct at 7:00 am, on summit together at 9:55 am and down to C1 at 9:30 pm. Descended to BC on the 28th and left BC on the 30th.
