Route Notes Reistad and Dawa Tshering reached C2 on 3 Nov. They planned to go to summit from C2. Reistad talked with climbers who were coming down and they told Reistad about bad snow conditions and worn out fixed rope. Reistad thought it will be a long day to summit from C2 and he gave up and descended to BC on 4th. Froen went up to C1 [5700m site] and returned same day to BC. He was also told by other climbers that the snow conditions were bad. Then he decided to give up. Froen returned Kathmandu on about 6 Nov and left on 9 Nov. Reistad after Ama Dablam went to Gokyo. He returned Kathmandu on 10 Nov and will leave on 16 Nov. Sherpa: Dawa Tshering/Chhiri, 3/8/71, Beding, Cho Oyu X6, Everest X4, etc.
