Route Notes Kraaz left C1 at 3 am on 20 Oct. He reached C2 at 4:05 am, where Brand, Fierz, Paukner, Spiss and Wensauer were waiting (they had spent the night at C2). They continued to the summit. At C3 they overtook Dan Mazur's team. Kraaz reached summit at 8:15 am, Fierz at 8:45 am, Paukner at 9:38 am, Wensauer at 11 am, Spiss at 11 am and Brand at 11:30 am. Fierz descended to BC and arrived at 4:30 pm; Brand, Paukner, Spiss and Wensauer descended to C2, where they arrived between 1:30 pm and 4:30 pm; Kraaz descended to BC as there was not enough space at C2 and he arrived there at 7 pm. Ackermann got to C1 on 11 Oct; he was too weak mentally and physically; he stayed two nights and descended to BC. Kasting got to C2 on 10 Oct, did not stay the night, but abandoned climb due to physical weakness. Lange reached C2 on 12 Oct, did not stay the night, but abandoned climb due to physical and mental weakness. Mitterer reached C1 on 11 Oct, did not stay the night, felt a bit sick and descended to BC. Reuter got to C2 on 12 Oct, did not stay the night since climb was too tough for her. Schoederlein go to C1 on 11 Oct, stayed the night, but the climb was too tough for him.
