Route Notes Ama Dablam team led by Henry Todd and Kami Nuru Sherpa - Aut 2006 Henry Todd went to see that all was in order and arrived at base camp on 27 Oct, climbed that day to C1, slept in base camp that night and left on the 28th. Kami Nuru Sherpa was the team's leader thereafter; after members arrived he spent 70% of his time in base camp and 30% in his home village, Pangboche, nearby. The summit team of Carl Griffiths, Michael Kenny, Grant Meekins and Pasang Dawa left C3 at 7:45 am on 11 November and were on the summit at 12:30 pm. They returned to C3 at 3:00 pm and slept in it that night. Griffiths was a client of Meekins, a professional guide. Non-summiting members in addition to Todd: Cowen went to C2 on 7 Nov, was not well, left the team on 11 Nov with Harling. Harling went to C2 with Cowen on the 7th, his feet got cold and he left the team with Cowen on the 11th. Hartley climbed with Pearce and Gurmin Dorje; went to C2 on 7th or 8th Nov, got cold feet and left team on the 13th. Hudson got to C1 only on the 6th, had bad cough, left team on the 8th. Pearce climbed with Hartley and Gurmin Dorje; reached C2, found the mountain was too steep, left on the 13th. Reeder went only as high as 5700m on the 15th, had no more desire to climb Ama Dablam and left on 16th or 17th.
