| Route Notes | High point at C1. 13 May storm came up and got to C1 in blizzard which dumped 1/2-meter or more on the route. Down to BC 14 May as planned. Reports of bad weather on 18th and 19th and huge thunderstorm on 18th dumped 1 meter snow and brought very strong winds "that ruined the route for us" because route is a technical rock route. 19th snowed again and in morning of 20th so team decided to quit. On 16th Stuckey left BC to go in quick ascent with Sherpa but had to turn back at 5700m because of storm and back to BC same day and left team 18th. |
