Route Notes Climbed swiftly because had acclimatized on Lobuche East. After summiting, they spent the night of 22nd Nov in C3, went to C1 on 23rd and on 24th to BC and Thyangboche same day, and reached Lukla on 26th after spending night of 25th in Namche. Jen Hardy (by email) - 26 Feb 2006 We flew to Lukla on Oct 30th, climbed Chugima Ri on Nov 9th, Pokalde on Nov 12th, then Lobuche East on Nov 15th. We both summited all of these. We summited Ama Dablam at about 1:30 pm on Nov 22nd. It was very clear and sunny, very cold, but only a mild wind. We descended and slept in C3 that night, and it became much more windy again overnight. We descended to C1 on Nov 23, then on the 24th continued down to BC and then Pangboche. We spent the night of Nov 24th in a lodge in Pangboche. Did not have any difficulty with the technical section of the climb. Neither of us had any health problems (apart from a little bit of on-going coughing), injuries or frostbite. We didn't use any supplemental oxygen. Did not use any Sherpa help for the climb, although we did use porters up to C1 and also used Henry Todd's tents.
