| Route Notes | Allen, Baillie, Fraser, Jamiyang, Jamling and Densa Bhote left C3 at 0:900 hours, reached summit at 14:10, stayed at summit about 40 minutes, reached C3 at 1600 hours. Next day to C1. Rosemeyer could not continue due to tiredness from C3. Weather was cold, windy and clear. Two other British started more or less same time but no idea if they had summited. The team returned to Kathmandu on Nov 16. Allen, Baillie and Rosemeyer are leaving on Nov 17. Fraser will go to Pokhara for paragliding and rafting on Nov 17 and will leave the country on Nov 25. Rosemeyer plans to come for Everest in 2007 possibly for north side. Nepalese summiters all from Hatiya-1, Sankhuwasabha Densa, 30/10/81 Jamling, 28/12/77, Everest North 30/5/05 Jamiyang, 13/5/81 |
