| Route Notes | The team returned to KTM on May 17 and left KTM on May 21. Ron Sanga was on Ama Dablam at same time. Sanga said on 22 May essential problem was that without climbing Sherpas and Olaf Zill sick that left 2 women to carry loads and they were not strong enough to carry all that weight. In addition women were worried about being alone on the mountain. When they abandoned climb in bad weather, they sent kitchen staff (2 men) up on 13th to bring down their gear. |
| Accidents | Zill suffered from bad infection (high fever) remained in BC all the time (he did not get well even after taking antibiotics) |
