Route Notes Oct 29: Cosgriff and Smith left C3 at 10:30 hours, summited at 14:30 hours, stayed about 15/20 minutes, descended to C3 at 17:00 hours. Oct 31: Byrne and Mrs Miller left C3 at 10:30 hours, summited at 15:00 hours, stayed on summit about 45 minutes, descended to C3 at 17:00 hours. On that day two other persons were on summit before them and two after. Weather was good on both summit days, but it wasd very cold, little windy. Mr Campbell suffered from pulmonary edema while at ABC on 23rd or 24th; rest of the days he stayed in BC. Miss De Vis spent one night in C1 on 20th, suffered from headache and vomitting; rest of the time remained at BC. Heim went up to C1, could not adapt the altitude, remained at BC. Youngman climbed up to C1 on 25th; was exhausted due to altitude and remained at BC. H. Campbell suffered from bronchitis while at ABC, left BC for KTM on Oct 21
