| Route Notes | Nov 04 all five members and three Sherpas left C3 at 08:00 hours, summited between 12:00-12:30 hours, stayed on summit about 40 minutes. Returned to C3 between 15:00 to 15:30 hours. Next day to Pangboche. Summit day weather was pretty nice, not much wind and summit was quite warm. The other summiters on that day before them were about five people (from Himalayan Guides). The expedition returned to KTM on Nov 8. Pilkington trying to leave on the 11th if not on 14th. Finch leaves on 11th and rest of the members on 12th. Sherpa summters: Tshering Pande Bhote from Sankhuwasabha Hatiya-1, Farang, 1978-02-20 Everest summit two times, Ama Dablam 4 times, Jyamchang Bhote from same place, summited Everest, Cho Oyu and Ama Dablam Deusa Bhote also from same place, summited Ama Dablam twice |
