| Route Notes | Wall to C1 and C2 only; suffering AMS symptoms which got serious at Pangboche and helicopter evacuated from there 1 April. Walton not to top; Walton to 6300m on summit day and then technical difficulties made continuing impossible and decided to go back. Shilling not above C2 because not confident of getting up higher; Hennig to C2 and tired. Weingott to 6700m near to Dablam, then also decided to go down with Hennig and all in C2 to sleep except Shilling to BC; then all to BC. |
