Route Notes First 5 members acclimatized on Island Peak and summited on 13 Oct by Czwojzinski, Dumanska, Pawlowski, Zawada and Wedell. Then to Ama Dablam by all of these members and other 3 who had not gone to Island Peak. On Ama Dablam had deposit of gear at C2 site but no space to make a camp so never slept there. After 1st summit success was heavy snowfall so 2nd summit success not until 2 Nov. Wedell climbed Island Peak with the team, went to Ama Dablam with them and on 18th Oct climbed alone to C1, then down to BC on 19th and left expedition same day.
