Route Notes 3 Dec Reed and Williams to C2. Williams had bad chest cold and Reed decided to go down with him. Luskey said difficult between C2 and C3, new kind of challenge for him with need to use fixed rope which had never done before. Tiny bit of rope fixed by this team; used rope already there. Hoelscher climbed to C2 on 1 Dec, left gear there, then left expedition same day suddenly. Morgan went above C1, was not comfortable with the climb and spent rest of expedition at BC.
