| Route Notes | Oct 20: left C3 at 08:30 hours. Summit at 12:30 hours, stayed about 30 minutes, descended to C2 at 15:30 hours. Beautiful weather, little windy and cold. Phillips said it was first time in his life to walk on snow. The other two Italians members left BC on Oct 14 and probably left Nepal on 18th. Both of them reached up to 5900m. Febbraio (former leader of the expedition) got home-sickness. Gionella got chest infection and decided to leave.
