| Route Notes | 7 Nov Bierbaumer, Schwarz and Pemba Gyalzen left C1 at 6:15 am for top. Schwarz moved more slowly than other 2. Bierbaumer and Pemba Gyalzen set up C3 at 10:00 am and then went on to summit at 1 pm and members in C3, Sherpa down to BC with bad cough). Schwarz reached top at 4:00 pm after 1 hour rest in C3; he found climb not difficult since so many ropes were fixed, but he was in no hurry. 8 Nov Patterer on top at 1:15 pm, Wohlgemuth at 3:15 pm. 2 original members, Emanuel Koschat and Alfred Wiesner, never reached BC because they got sick. |
