| Route Notes | High point at top right side of Ama Dablam. 21st late in day at high point and tired, lightning storm discouraging and just about every day snow in afternoon. No time to go down to rest and return to climb. By now only 4 members left; other 3 left BC 15 April: Lindsey found mountain not for him and never went above BC, Dorrell got to ABC and MacDonald to C1 once; not really well. Sherpa also had bouts of illness, so load carrying strength insufficient from early days on mountain. |
