Route Notes BC at normal place C2 on SW Ridge. Summit success badly delayed by daily snowfall including 6 inches in "couple of hours." Core team from C2 on 27 April for top but rope already there was too thin "twine" and had left own rope at BC: went to 6100m where "Korean Time" began. Then yaks were arriving on 1st so not enough time to bring up rope and go to top. Core team decided to stop climb on 27th but two others used the "twine" to summit. In core team, all 3 went to 6100m and turned back. "Core team" were Fioretti, Miller and Ohlson; other four members climbed semi-independently of them.
Accidents Clapp cracked molar (left expedition 13 or 14 April)
