Route Notes Oct 13 left C2 at 02:00, reached summit at 13:00 hours, spent half an hour. It was windy, cold, clear sky. Way down to C2 spent about two hours in C3 in a tent due to strong wind. They felt cold feet. Reached C2 at 20:00 hours. Next day BC. There were with two Austrian climbers, climbing together. Liaison Officer: They were of the opinion that instead of each expedition having an LO, it would be better to keep a ranger in the BC. SPCC - They appreciated the cleaning of the BC by SPCC. But they found lots of garbage along the trails (bottles, tin trash, etc.). Expedition returned to KTM from Lukla on 18. Accomodated at Nepal Peace 6/H as the hotel was overbooked. They leave KTM on Oct 20.
