Route Notes BC at normal site C2 at normal site on top of the ridge High point just below normal C3 on ridge. Did not sleep in C2 where not much room, so carried some gear there and tried to bypass it. Turned back at 6000m because of the loose snow over granite which turned back others too. Team then reached highest point, slept in C1 on 19th.
Accidents Fioretti got serious upper respiratory infection
