Route Notes BC on northeast side on moraine beach on Ama Dablam Glacier 10 min below NE Spur C1 on North Ridge at junction with NE Spur Biv 1 at Australians "Captain's Crunch" ledge Biv 2 on West Ridge Biv 3 on North Ridge Biv 4 on North Ridge Biv 5 on summit snowfield Biv 6 on SW Ridge. 6th May returned to North Ridge BC. Ascent difficult in its grade of climbing on ice, rock and mixed terrain, but all good quality and was "a pleasure." Descent by SW Ridge, not difficult, but unnerving having to rely on quality of other peoples fixed rope.
